Green Tours are relaxing and refreshing for anyone. Any living being deserves to connect to nature, to flowers, trees, plants, birds, etc., and feel part of the universe. In Rome, we have plenty of historical parks of big size that are also tight to our art and social history. Some of these places are even archeological areas: here is a ruff choice to enjoy yourself in beautiful open-air areas with history and art:

Tivoli PRIVATE tour

WHY BOOK THIS TIVOLI PRIVATE TOUR

Tivoli is the old Tibur, famous for its waters. It is built on a travertine cliff and has some beautiful waterfalls besides three historical villas and a Rocca. It’s a day trip. The Villa of the Emperor Hadrian is an authentic wonder. The beautiful monumental walks that he designed to enjoy water and nature are still today amazing. Moreover, the centuries added charm to the structures (Thermal baths, theaters, pools, porticos, gigantic substructions, barracks, and much more). I suggest lunch in the Acropoli restaurant with great quality food, and eventually wine, while overlooking the cliffs and two ancient temples. The famous Villa D’Este with its famous gardens and water games will charm you with its imposing architecture based on different levels and ledges.

THIS TIVOLI PRIVATE TOUR IN TWO WORDS

Get a day inside a fairy tale in a picturesque village, a journey made of history, emperors, cardinals, and their secrets, but especially amazing and daring architectures, water engineering machines, fountains, games, marble pavements, and frescoes: all spiced up by my tales (and a good panoramic restaurant!).

THIS TIVOLI PRIVATE TOUR DETAILS AND COSTS

It’s a tour of min. 4 hours tour (It’s possible to visit Villa Adriana, the medieval village, Villa D’Este with the Gardens, Villa Gregoriana, and Rocca Pia).  Public transportation (train+bus) is around 10€ per person going and back, I can arrange a private car with a private driver if you prefer. The ticket price for each Villa is around 10€ per adult (free for visitors up to 17 years of age). I can book tickets and transportation for you.

Roman castles private Tour

WHY BOOK A ROMAN CASTLES PRIVATE TOUR

With “Castelli Romani” we mean the hilly area south of Rome where different towns have the medieval character of castrum (fortification), towns born on the Volcano slopes, where there are also three beautiful lakes, and that are our escape and paradise in the weekends to enjoy fresh air, good food, honest wines and a lot of legends and tales. Here ancient Roman villas left space for the Renaissance ones. It’s at least a day tour depending on our choices: the towns are many, all very different in story, landscape, and products. It’s possible to reach the area by train.
